HOW TO BECOME A COLOR-CODE AND DECORATIVE PLANNER

Do you know what kind of planner you are? There are three different types of planners and I'm going to show you the benefits of being all three!

#1 - BLACK AND WHITE PLANNER

  • You love your planner and prefer to write down all of your important dates, events, birthdays, appointments, and things on your schedule with just a simple pen in your best handwriting.

  • My parents are these planners. They have a small planner to keep on them at all times and only write down important information.

#2 - COLOR CODE PLANNER

  • You always start out with writing all of your dates and plans first so everything is mapped out. Then, you assign each task or event a color.

  • You could use a highlighter for different events such as pink for work and green for family.

  • OR, you could even use different colored erasable pens. Assign one pen color to each task to make your planner more colorful.

#3 - DECORATIVE PLANNER

  • You are a little extra and love to add some flair to your planner.

  • Once all of your important dates are mapped out, then you can decorate your planner with stickers with or without a theme.

  • I personally like to add in my stickers first and then use my erasable pens to color code making it not only functional but pretty too!

When you embrace color coding in your planner, your eyes focus on your daily priorities. It is so stimulating for visual learners like me!
