MY TOP TIPS ON HOW TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR DAILY TOP 3

What if all you needed to accomplish in a day was just three important things?

Believe it or not these three items are going to help you set the tone for your day. Here's how I use my TOP 3 List to accomplish all of the tasks in my day.

#1 - CHOOSE YOUR TOP 3

  • Everyday presents new challenges, tasks, and activities that need to happen whether we like it or not.

  • Choose three items to be your top-priority focal points for each day.

  • Studies have shown that setting three daily goals is measurable, manageable, and realistic.

#2 - WEEKLY INSERT OR LAYOUT

  • Once you have your TOP 3 for each day, you can then plan out your week accordingly.

  • Write in your TOP 3 for each day at the top of your insert or in your weekly block layout as a reminder to complete these tasks first.

  • I'm a HUGE fan of erasable pens which allow you to make changes if different events are now happening during the week.

#3 - STICKERS

  • Now that you have your TOP 3 ready, you can block out your week with stickers.

  • I like the stickers that have five bullet points or more on them to schedule our evenings of sports.

  • The morning/afternoon is mostly for my business so I place smaller blocks in there to work on my business tasks.

#4 - BLOCK YOUR TIME

  • Once you have your stickers all planned out, it's time to write on them and have fun!

  • Block off time for work, your business, school activities, and house chores that need to be accomplished once your TOP 3 has been completed.

  • Don't forget to block off time for yourself too!

Focusing on my TOP 3 each day has helped me accomplish the most important things first while allowing me to prioritize the rest of my time.
